I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant and I am so glad I did! The Asian cuisine here is top-notch and so delicious. The noodles are chewy and fresh, and the broth is perfectly seasoned. The service was exceptional, and I loved the call button at each table for easy assistance. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and modern. I can't think of a single thing to complain about - I absolutely loved my meal here! I will definitely be coming back for more.

I am so glad we decided to come back and try the oyster pancake at this restaurant – it was absolutely perfect! The pancake was crispy and delicious, and when it arrived at our table, the cast iron plate was still sizzling hot. I tried both the honey soy sauce and the spicy soy sauce, and they were both fantastic. Personally, I thought the sweet soy sauce really brought out the natural saltiness of the oyster, adding a whole new level of flavor to every bite. I really appreciated that the oysters were not overcooked too. The seafood pancake we had before was also top-notch, and I have yet to find another Korean restaurant that cooks their pancakes quite like they do here. We also ordered the spicy seafood soup with homemade noodles and the spicy beef soup. Both soups were delicious, and the kitchen was able to serve our food quickly even on a busy Friday night. The service was attentive and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this restaurant is definitely a great option for anyone looking for delicious Korean cuisine and quick service. I will definitely be coming back again soon!

Do yourself a favor and arrive at this restaurant with an empty stomach and a group of friends ready to dig in. The portion sizes of the noodles here are no joke - I consider myself a big eater and I couldn't believe how much food was on my plate. I found myself eating away happily for what seemed like forever and still barely made a dent in my dish. One thing that really stood out to me was the kimchi. It was on the sweeter side which was a pleasant surprise compared to the more sour and fermented flavors I'm used to. I couldn't get enough of it and wished I could take home a pound of it if I didn't live so far away. If you're looking to get in and out quickly, I recommend opting for the long noodle dishes. The first time I visited, I tried the wide noodles and while they were tasty, they definitely slowed down my eating process. When I think of noodles, I think of slurping and deep breaths as I devour them, so the long noodles were more my speed. Just keep in mind that they operate on a Chick-Fil-A schedule, so be prepared for a potential wait as they are closed on Sundays. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the mood for some seriously delicious and filling noodles with a unique twist on traditional flavors. Enjoy!

I was absolutely blown away by the generous portions at this restaurant! Each noodle dish we ordered could easily be shared with another person. We tried the Seafood Oko Pancake, which was loaded with seafood, green onions, and cabbage. The bonito flakes and okonomi sauce added a delicious touch, and the pancake stayed crispy even after it cooled down. The Chicken Kalguksu had a flavorful and clean broth with chewy noodles, while the Bibim Guksu was a refreshing cold noodle dish with fresh vegetables and a tangy gochujang sauce. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes! And a bonus - they offer free cabbage at the front. The service was also fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough!

I can't stop raving about Daesung! It has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious Korean food in NYC. The portions are huge, so make sure to come hungry or bring some friends along. My absolute favorites are the seafood oko pajeon, bibim guksu, and mandu. The steamed mandu is filled with delicious pork, chives, and glass noodles, and taste amazing with the vinegary soy sauce. The seafood oko pancake is a must-try, loaded with shrimp and squid and served with a variety of tasty sauces. The fishcake kalguksu is a great option for those who prefer a non-spicy broth. The fishcakes soak up all the flavors and the noodles are bouncy and chewy. The soft tofu stew was a pleasant surprise, with jiggly soft tofu and the option to choose your desired spice level. Overall, Daesung is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and generous portions. I highly recommend checking it out for a satisfying Korean meal!
